  Took my Cavoodle in for a full groom this morning and was very disappointed with the groom and service received. This was the third time I have taken my dog to the salon. The first we were not 100% happy with the groom however we gave them the benefit of the doubt the second time we took her they did a fantastic job she looked amazing and the staff were very friendly. This morning was an awful experience all round. At drop off I explained that we didn’t like her groom the first time as her coat was cut too short and it had lines through it etc I explained that we were very happy with her last groom, the staff member looked it up in the system and said she could see what they did. She then asked what I wanted and explained that I do not like her cut too short because of the type of dog she is but I want a good tidy up and the fluff taken off. She then started to use technical show dog type language to explain what she was going to do which I did not understand I told her again I want a tidy up exactly like last time. I felt a bit uncomfortable and the staff member was quite abupt and rude. When I collected my dog they had done a great job of her ears/face and head but had shaven the rest of her body which is exactly what I did not want which was explained at the drop off. She looked like one of those hairless cats. When paying for the service the store manager served me and I explained that I was not happy with the groom and they have done exactly what I asked them not too. She did not seem that interested and said do I want to speak to the salon about it. I was too upset at this point to go and speak to the salon so the store manager took my money and that was it. My husband later on called the store to express our disappointment with the groom and the store manager and salon were most unhelpful and did not want a bar of it. We will not be using their services again or buying anything from the store and will be sure to spread the word to our friends.
